How to Format an Excel Chart


- To format the chart you created in the last part, do this:
  • Click on your chart with your right mouse button
  • A pop up menu appears
  • Move your mouse up to "Format Chart Area"

  • Click on Format Chart Area with your left mouse button
  • A dialogue box appears, and looks like the one below:

Select the Font tab strip, and change your settings to match those above: Arial, Regular, Size 8. Click OK when you're done. Your Chart will look something like the one below:

We now have four programmes showing, and different ones! Not quite there yet, then. We need to move the chart up a bit, and then resize it.To move your chart up, do the following:
  • Move your mouse into the Chart Area, but on a white bit
  • Hold down your left mouse button
  • Keep the left mouse button held down, and drag your mouse upwards
  • Your chart should move up
  • Let go of the left mouse button when your chart is near the top
  • In the image below, the top left of the chart has been moved to the cell B2

Now that we've moved our Chart up to the top of the spreadsheet, we can resize it.

Sorting Images in Windows 7  -In the previous section, you learned how to add information to an image. In this section, you'll se what you can do with all this information. This comes under the topic of Sorting. First, though, change your View slider from  Tiles  to  Details : When you arrange the window to Details view, your screen should look like this one: We now have a list of images with the Name, Date, Tags, Size and Ratings showing. These headings can all be used to sort your images. Click on the Ratings, for example, and you'll see a dropdown box: You can choose to display only images with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 stars. All you need to do is to check each box. The ones not checked will then be hidden: Here, we're choosing to display only 1 and 2 star images, perhaps with a view to deleting them. (To delete an image, right-click. From the menu that appears, select  Delete . Or choose  Rename  to change the name of the image....
